Description: non-profit tennis and sports club
Status: postponed
Primarily a tennis center; the complex is flexible enough to accommodate many of the extra needs of the community. A pool, baseball/softball diamond, basketball courts and a skate park are all included in the design. Considering the harsh climate of the Arizona Desert, an exterior skin is utilized to diminish heat gain in the interior tennis club spaces. The second floor of the building overlooks the courts allowing for match viewing from the cooler interior.
