Located on a long stretch of under-utilized commercial street frontage, this building is part of a revitalization effort for this area of the city. Working closely with the Housing and Planning Departments, PSL arranged units and community spaces to activate the sidewalk. Townhouse units wrap the ground floor parking garage; entry stoops encourage residents and guests to walk or take the Metro Blue Line which passes directly in front of the site. The Community Room is located at the main corner of the site, enclosed with storefront-glazing to engage the public and embody the character of a mixed-use commercial corner. The 2-story entry space with terraced planters opens to the courtyard hinting at the lush private garden.
