A part of Lancaster's downtown renewal, Arbor on Date is designed as an affordable housing project for families. The perimeter of the building is opened over the main entrance to the courtyard. This gives prominence to the entry, while also permitting views out from the interior courtyard space. An interlocking paint scheme works with the window placement to create a pattern on the façade that serves to unify the building.
